About Us
Custom Fishing Skirts has been in business since May of 2007. We started out making customized spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and jigs for ourselves and our friends. Then we started Big Mouth Baits and Skirts selling to every one. We began making the skirts for the lures ourselves also.
As time went by, we started stocking more colors and patterns for making skirts and began customization of them as well. The demand for fishing skirts has grown for us so we created a website just for all the skirt patterns and colors available. That is how Custom Fishing Skirts began and continues to grow as we create replacement skirts for fishermen all around the world. We have shipped our skirts to almost all 50 states and have shipped to Canada, France, Australia, Costa Rica, Italy, and many other countries. Our first full year in business (2008) we made over 5,000 fishing replacement skirts.
Each skirt we make is made to order. Handmade, one by one. We strive to be the best at what we do. If we wouldn't use it to fish with, we certainly won't let you either!
We are a small operation but can handle bigger orders. It just may take us a little longer. We have done skirt orders for 500 or more at a time.
Ordering
We have Paypal set up for payment processing. You do not need a Paypal account to place an order with us. Paypal accepts e-checks and Credit Cards.
All items have an "Add to Cart" button. Just click the button and it will add 1 item to your "shopping cart". You can change the quantity if you want more than 1 item. You can just close out this window or switch windows and keep shopping and add more items to your cart. When you are done, simply click checkout, if you have a paypal account, simply log in. If you do not have a Paypal account, just follow the instructions on how to make a payment.
Shipping
Shipping is done through the USPS by 1st class mail or Priority Mail. Out of country orders are shipped 1st class internation and will receive an additional invoice for shipping charges as the shopping cart does not charge shipping for international orders.
Custom Ordering
You can order any item that is available on the website and if you don't find what you are looking for, please let us know. We take custom orders at no additional charge! Just let us know what colors you want and if we don't have it, we will see if we can get it. We have access to hundreds of different patterns.
You can see all the colors of round rubber available on the round rubber page. We are trying to list all of our silicone tabs that we stock as well. So if you don't see a pattern available, it might not be up on the site yet. We will also do all silicone skirts. See our price list for prices of different skirt combinations. We eventually want to add all silicone skirts on our site for ordering as well.
No order is too big or too small. You can order 1 skirt or 1000. We can handle it!
